Zac Posen x Target jacket; American Rag skirt; Target wedges
I remember walking into my local Target back in April and gaping at this vivid beauty, only to set it back on the rack with a heavy heart upon seeing the $200 price tag -- but not before trying it on and envisioning what I'd wear with it if I could afford to. Needless to say, I left the store that day sans gorgeous red Zac Posen motorcycle jacket. Fast forward to a warm July afternoon, on which, I'm making my rounds at Goodwill when all of a sudden that unmistakable red jacket jumps out at me. Lunging for it, I see that the original tags are still in tact but most importantly, the price has significantly plunged since I last held this beauty in my arms three months ago, to $29.99. TWENTY-NINE NINETY-NINE. Guess who left Goodwill that afternoon, happy as can be, with her beloved new Zac Posen motorcycle jacket in tow?
I love how the red pops without bordering obscenity and pairs well with summer's muted tones. Good old nude colored tank top to my rescue once again. Buttery soft leather and impeccably made, this Zac Posen jacket is a welcome addition to my wardrobe.

Gorgeous images and outfits of note. Soft lighting, long locks let loose, sheer, wide-brimmed hats, neutrals, a motorcycle jacket in a great sand color, fur galore and a carefree vibe synonymous with summer.
Eyelet cardigan - BCBG Max Azria; Floral bustier & lace skirt - American Rag; Vintage belt; Urban Outfitters boots
First of all, thank you guys for the lovely comments on my last post! I'll definitely feature more clothing I've designed in future posts.
While combing through the racks of Goodwill, I found this gorgeous BCBG Max Azria eyelet cardigan -- with the tags still attached. I can't imagine why the previous owner would want to give up such a beautiful piece! Nevertheless, trust me, I'm not complaining. I love the oversize buttons and the light, slinky feel of this cardi, making it the perfect summer cover-up for breezier days yet I can see myself using it well into the winter (Hawaii winters are extremely mild, mind you). Moreover, the camel color is absolutely divine. I've been searching for an outerwear piece of this colored nature; much to my delight, I've found it. Its only flaw is a small hole in the front but luckily the overall eyelet design somewhat masks it.
So into bustiers right now. This lovely floral piece may be my first, but definitely will not be my last. With their unmistakable versatility, consider me hooked.
